Boysen Berry Farm – Home of Rudy’s Original® Heritage Boysenberries. The original boysenberry. Our heritage boysenberry vines have been kept in the Boysen family for 100 years. My grandfather, Rudy Boysen, developed the boysenberry in 1923 on a small farm in Napa California. Today we’re growing our Rudy’s Original® Boysenberries in Northern California.

We’ve been busy in our commercial kitchen preparing and stocking up. This year’s Rudy’s Original®  boysenberries are exceptional. Taste them and see for yourself!

Our Rudy’s Original® Boysenberry Jams, and Syrups are made from our heritage boysenberries using simple ingredients. Rudy’s Original® Boysenberries, pure cane sugar, fresh lemon juice and pectin. That’s all! There is nothing else like it. Many of our boysenberry friends say it brings back childhood memories of real boysenberry flavor. Make new childhood memories with your family. Boysenberry Plants

AVAILABILITY

Rudy’s Original® BARE-ROOT plants. Bare-root plants ship in 3 packs. SOLD OUT FOR 2024.

Rudy’s Original®  POTTED boysenberry plants will be available in late May through early June.  Potted plants come in one gallon containers and are only available for pick up at Boysen Berry Farm during our U-Pick season. We do not ship potted plants.

Health Benefits of Boysenberries

Rudy’s Original® Heritage Boysenberries are high in antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin K, and  dietary fiber. Plus they’re fat free and low in calories. In fact, boysenberries are higher in antioxidants than blackberries, red raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, oranges and apples.

Antioxidants help maintain healthy brain cells and may reduce the risk of some cancers.

Vitamin C boosts our immune system and contributes to a healthy cardio vascular system. It’s great for prenatal health too.
